My name is Allison, and I sought help for my cat Bubbles at the advice of my vet. He is a rescue
and has been an exceedingly fearful fellow since he came into our home as a kitten. Anyone other than
myself and my daughter terrify Bubbles as do cat carriers, loud noises, vacuums, and people wearing
shoes indoors. We thought he was just a quirky guy until it began to effect his physical health.
I reached out to Cat Nurse Jocie for Bubbles yet, her expertise helped all of my cats. She did an
hour video session with myself and my daughter about changes in our home along with training. I
thought because I have always had cats, I knew how to make a comfortable environment. Jocie was
exceedingly kind in pointing out elements such as 4 litter boxes clumped together into one room for 5
cats is not ideal. This suggestion came along with ideas for feeding in different locations, increasing the
number of scratchers, and my favorite…crate training! Getting Bubbles into a cat crate has historically
involved stuffing him into a grocery bag or pillow case so he cannot escape while wearing oven mitts.
Jocie’s gentle approach of opening the crate up and leaving it for him to explore has worked wonders!
He started slowly going in and now he even sleeps in this kitty crate. It’s a miracle!!
What struck me the most about our time with Jocie is her passion for cats along with how her
strategies helped ALL my kitties. Shy Sunny is more confident while feeding. Luna has ceased
tackling/fighting with kitten Eleanor. Even our timid basement cat Blueberry is starting to come upstairs.
I am beyond satisfied with Cat Nurse Jocie and would highly recommend her services to anyone
struggling with a feline issue.
